KITCHEN REMODELING

Thoughtful design. Detailed craftsmanship. Built around the way you live.

A kitchen remodeling that works as well as it looks.

The kitchen that made sense ten years ago rarely fits the life you’re living now.

Most homeowners aren’t just looking to update finishes, they’re trying to fix everyday friction. Tight layouts, limited storage, poor lighting, outdated appliances. Or a kitchen that no longer reflects how the household cooks, gathers, and moves through the day.

That’s why we always start by understanding how you actually use your kitchen before we talk about anything else. Flow, storage, work zones, lighting — we look at what’s working, what isn’t, and what a better layout could make possible. The materials come later. Getting the space right comes first.

A Clear Path from Start to Finish

Poor planning is where most kitchen remodeling go wrong. Decisions made too late and inconsistent communication lead to drifting timelines, overlooked details, and homeowners left guessing about what comes next.

RQC brings 20+ years of experience and a more disciplined approach. Details are defined early, materials are organized by phase, and scheduling is coordinated before work begins. Active communication and oversight keep the project aligned with the plan — and when issues come up, they’re addressed quickly. Permits and added coordination requirements are handled as part of keeping the remodel on track.

Here’s what working with RQC looks like from start to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kitchen Remodeling

Yes – RQC is fully licensed, insured, and bonded, with liability and workers’ compensation coverage in place. Documentation is available anytime.

Clear communication is built into every step of the project. We use a platform called Buildertrend as a central hub, so everything stays organized and transparent.

You’ll have access to schedules, daily updates, tasks, and change orders in one place. All communication is tracked within the system, making it easy for both you and our team to stay aligned and reference details at any time.

We take steps to protect your home and contain dust throughout the project. This includes floor protection along work paths, plus door and wall protection in high-traffic areas when needed.

To keep dust from spreading, we install plastic barriers or zip walls between work zones and the rest of the home. We also replace furnace filters and can arrange duct cleaning if needed.

The exact approach depends on the scope of work, but the goal is always to keep your home clean, protected, and livable.

Each project is led by a dedicated project manager, typically one of the owners, Mark, or his son Austin, who has been with RQC for over eight years.

Most of the work is completed in-house by our team, including framing, cabinetry, millwork, trim, tile, and custom installations. Licensed electricians, plumbers, and HVAC contractors are brought in as needed many of –whom we’ve worked with for over a decade. Any subcontractors on your project are long-standing partners who understand and meet our standards for quality.

When mold is identified, it’s treated as a serious health concern. The affected area is either professionally remediated with approved treatments or removed entirely, with all impacted materials replaced.
