MEET OUR RELIABLE TEAM
Mark P. – Owner/Lead Carpenter
Mark was raised into this career. His father, a custom residential home builder and general contractor out of West Chicago, brought Mark and his brothers up working at his side. Mentored by his father, he developed a genuine intrigue of hands-on hard work and renovation projects.
Upon Graduation, Mark plunged further into the construction industry. Alongside custom home builders, Mark drafted unique home plans, gaining matchless experience from some of the top creative minds in his field. In 2007, Mark opened Reliable Quality Construction pouring in the skills, experience, and passion he had acquired over so many years. After expansive experience in the construction industry, Mark is utilized in many facets in RQC, He is COO, and Chief Architect, but you will also find him working as our Project Design Specialist and On-Site Operations Manager. It’s hard to really pin down one job title for such a gifted tradesman.
When the project is complete you can find Mark going home to his lovely wife Ann. They love spending their family time outdoors snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, grilling, and taking the boat out. Quality time with loved ones and friends just relaxing and laughing helps this family refresh and refill to jump right into the next project.
Wayne B. – Owner/Sales
Wayne discovered his passion for construction, building, and home renovation at the young age of fifteen. He began working for his uncle’s construction company before he was even old enough to drive and continued working alongside him throughout his schooling. During that time, Wayne gained a strong foundation in the industry that ultimately led him to launch his first construction company, specializing in all types of exterior remodeling.
Over the last 32 years, Wayne has continually expanded his expertise through a wide range of construction ventures performing nearly every aspect of the trade—from concrete and roofing to complete home builds. His commitment to excellence is reflected in his consistent attendance at professional training programs, industry seminars, and best-in-trade table meetings, allowing him to stay current and uphold the highest industry standards.
Wayne’s passion for construction has only grown stronger with time, culminating in his partnership with Mark Parker at Reliable Quality Construction (RQC). His extensive hands-on experience and deep industry knowledge uniquely qualify him to serve as CFO and Managing Director at RQC. In an ever-changing construction landscape, Wayne brings integrity, stability, and continuity to the company and to every project undertaken.
At RQC, Wayne fulfills multiple roles, including office, design and sales management. Thanks to his decades of experience, he is also regularly consulted as a trusted sales specialist, offering clients insight and guidance they can rely on.
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathleen, and their daughters, Kaylee and Brooklyn. Together, they value laughter, big family dinners, time in the sun and water, and traveling on vacation. Wayne has a strong heart for service and is an active member of Calvary Church in Naperville, Illinois. There, he serves with the autistic children’s ministry most Sundays and participates in multiple local and international mission trips each year.
Austin P. – Project Manager/Marketing
This industry got a hold of Austin at a young age. At 16, Austin dove headfirst into a love affair with the residential construction industry. Attention to details and headstrong work ethics are defining characteristics for Austin, son of COO, Mark. This family passed on quality tradesmen and ingenuity along within the life lessons and unwavering values.
Austin believes that quality work and detailed execution are the calling card of a job well done; our customers agree wholeheartedly. He utilizes his years of training at C.O.D in Architectural Technology and years of experience in the Parker family trade, to our advantage at RQC. Austin is a gifted multitasker and helps to facilitate onsite and in office continuity and expedience.
When the project is complete, Austin enjoys many technical hobbies, especially woodworking and wrenching on cars. He can often be found relaxing outdoors with his dog.
